Operating in the region since 2018, the Garde & Ris daycare in Paudex, a municipalty on the border of Lutry and Pully in the canton of Vaud, offers family childcare. Our daycare welcomes up to 158 children from birth until the official school age. After-school care is also available for 1P and 2P children on Wednesdays and during the school holidays, in a safe and friendly environment.
Our daycare is open Monday to Friday from 7am to 7pm. From an early age, a multicultural team looks after the well-being and health of the children in a childcare area designed to ensure their comfort and safety, close to Lausanne.

Where is the Paudex daycare located?

Garde & Ris childcare centre is located at the entrance to the town of Paudex, next to the towns of Pully and Lutry, on the outskirts of Lausanne. Ideally located in a residential area with plenty of parking spaces to make everyday life easier for families, our daycare is close to outdoor spaces dedicated to different age groups, as well as the lake, which is ideal for spending time outside.

Who works at the Paudex daycare?

Our energetic team is passionate about early childhood and works closely with families to support each child as he or she learns.
As young learners, they benefit from the attentive care of our qualified staff, who meet the requirements of the Office de l'Accueil de Jour des Enfants (OAJE). By encouraging an environment that is conducive to the development of young children, we help them to open their minds from their very first experiences.
This approach, in our place dedicated to early childhood, stimulates their curiosity and allows them to explore the world around them, thereby fostering their development. Together, they create a caring atmosphere where every child is supported in their development within our childcare network.

What pedagogical methods are used in the Paudex daycare?

At our daycare in Paudex, we apply a pedagogical approach that encourages children's autonomy and development at their own pace, drawing inspiration from different educational trends such as Pikler, baby sign language, Reggio Emilia, Youp'la Bouge, Eco School and Montessori. We believe in playful learning and sustainable education that fosters self-confidence, social skills and creativity while respecting the planet.
In addition to the equipped play areas, our daycare offers many opportunities for children to discover the joys of outdoor activities. Excursions in and around the municipality of Paudex, including Lausanne, allow children to explore their surroundings and develop to the full. Private minibuses are available for a variety of daily outings.
