100% organic food in our daycares
The food and snacks delivered to our daycares are 100% organic!* An excellent collaboration with a Swiss caterer and supplier of organic fruits has enabled us to offer this level of quality to all the children we care for.
This positive change compared to many other structures aims to offer a healthy diet that respects both children and the environment. We made this choice in line with our "sustainable education" motto, which is always at the heart of everything we do.
The 100% organic menus on offer, both meat and vegetarian, are varied and comply with the current recommendations of the Swiss Society of Nutrition.
We can also cater for a number of food allergies and intolerances. Talk to the management when you visit our daycare!
*With the exception of our daycare in Bern. The food there is not 100% organic, but it is prepared by a local caterer using regional products.

Going outdoors every day
In all our daycares, outings take place at least once a day. During these times, the children discover the world and their environment, at their own pace and according to their own needs.
Each of our facilities provides children with a safe and fun outdoor space, whether it's a garden or a terrace. As the children become more independent, they go for walks to discover the neighbourhood and surrounding area, the shores of Lake Leman, the forest or the playgrounds, depending on the geographical context.
How the children go out of the daycare
In the nursery, babies go for walks in pushchairs, while the older children are introduced to walking. For toddlers, they walk with a rope and take short walks. For pre-schoolers, children hold hands in pairs.
Some outings take place on public transport, giving the children a chance to learn about other safety rules. The educators take them to museums, the zoo or the library.
The outings primarily meet a physical need, with children learning about the weather and the seasons, but also a need for discovery and learning, through cerebral and motor development.

At KidsCare, we're proud of our commitment to preserving the environment and creating a greener future for generations to come. Our partnership with the "One Tree Planted" association is one of our promises.
For every new contract signed with us in the cantons of Vaud, Fribourg and Bern, we will donate a tree to contribute to reforestation and the conservation of our precious natural resources. As well as creating safe, child-friendly learning spaces, we want to actively support the fight against climate change and preserve biodiversity around the Earth.
By joining forces with "One Tree Planted", we are sowing the seeds of a more sustainable future, while providing a welcoming and educational environment for every child who joins our network of KidsCare daycare centers.
The Ecoschool label
All our daycares have obtained, or are actively working towards obtaining, the prestigious Eco-Schools label. This label is recognition of our commitment to integrating sustainable practices into early childhood education.
The Eco-Schools label embodies our vision of education that goes beyond the daycare room, teaching children the importance of protecting our planet from an early age.
Through this program, our daycare centers strive to create an educational environment that promotes environmental awareness, waste reduction, energy conservation and many other sustainable practices. Our educators are specially trained to integrate these values into the children's daily activities and educational programs.
We firmly believe that every little action counts, and by obtaining the Eco-Schools label, we are demonstrating our commitment to a better future for generations to come. It's an honor for us to see our daycares transformed into learning spaces not only for the children, but for our entire community, where preserving the planet is at the heart of our mission.
